Semester 1 Exercise 1
Space
About the exercise
SPACE explores tectonic and stereotomic methods to define and relate three-dimensional SPACE: a legible area defined by physical or implied edges. The tectonic may be thought of as involving an additive process, such as with frame construction (beams and columns), while the stereotomic may be thought of as involving thick walls or a subtractive process, such as with carved solids.
